Describe your issue

after having 500 error with my nextcloud app, I try to migrate as a new install of nextcloud requires yunohost 12***
The web UI tells me there is no migration available, the logs says the last operation was a migration. and when I try to upgrade my apps, they ask for the new os telling I’m still on 11.3

unfortunately the commands advised above didn’t work and I’m lost,. as my knowledge is very limited and I don’t really remember how I managed to make a running server long time ago.

I’m asking myself if making a new server on another machine and trying to copy the settings wouldn’t bee easier than trying to repair the old one. If so would it bee possible to restore or reinstall the data USB disks that I have now ? My bigger concern is that, I don’t remember the settings I had to put in place when I made the original server. If I loose the data it wouln’t bee too terrible as they aren’t critical but I would save time as I have some stuff accumulated there with the time.

I didn’t understand what you meant by settings.
But it would be better to start over on another machine.
Make a full backup of the old one, copy it on usb
Install a new one but don’t run the post install
Copy the backup to the new machine and run the restore
What data are you trying to get from the server?

sorry for the launch too early above, by settings, I think at all the things I had to alter in order to have a working system. DNS, Disk management security etc. I was thinking about installing the new machine with an up to date version of yunohost and manually set the personal stuff by copying the old one. I’m not sure if I could backup the old and restore if the version isn’t the same. For the data, I had some nextcloud files and directories on an external USB HD and I’d appreciate to restore them if possible.
