Matrix Synapse Federation issue

What app is this about, and its version: synapse 1.147.1~ynh1
What YunoHost version are you running: 12.1.39 (stable)
What type of hardware are you using: VPS bought online

Describe your issue

I am trying to use either Matrix.org or Vector.im to start federation but it always says “Terms of service not accepted or the identity server is invalid.”

I am not sure what to do.

I was able so successfully federate.

I had to go to my vps provider (IONOS in this instance) and open up port 8448 on the VPS firewall. I was able to join the Yunohost Server and post a successful message.
