Matomo : Could not connect to the database server: Database access denied

  • Hardware: OVH Dedicated Server
  • YunoHost version: 11.0.9.15
  • I have access to my server: Through SSH and through the webadmin
  • Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance?: no
  • Install package version/branch: 4.12.0~ynh1

Description of my issue

I installed Matomo on my Yunohost server. I start the registration process. But once I reached the Database Setup step. I do not have any information about what I should put here. I did not receive any message on the mailbox related to the admin account I set during the installation process.
Did I miss something?

I expected to have the information that I should put on the Database Setup step

I created an issue report on the Github Repository.

Credentials are sent to admin email

This is what I supposed, however I did not received anything. I tested admin@aumbox.net and root@aumbox.net (both aliases of my main email addresses). Both worked.

Is it possible to manually trigger this event ?

Usually it is root@youdomain.ltd
What app are you using to read your email?
I just tested installing Matomo. I do get a mail checking with Roundcube.

I don’t know if this can be triggered manually.

I used several app : Thunderbird and Rainloop with my laptop/desktop. Fairemail on my smartphone.
