Mastodon error: „Some posts from this profile may be missing“

What YunoHost version are you running: 12.0.13
What app is this about: Mastodon v4.3.7

Describe your issue

When viewing profile pages of followed profiles on different servers than my own, sometimes the posts are not displayed. Instead, there‘s just this error message:

Some posts from this profile may be missing.
See more posts on domain-xyz.social.

Why? Is this something I can modify? I‘d like to always see posts of every profile that I follow.

This is the nature of ActivityPub (the protocol that powers Mastodon). Your instance will only show posts that it has received, so posts prior to the date you or somebody else on your instance followed the account will not display unless they were received by your instance from someone boosting them
