Hi everyone,
I’m a Yunohost user for 2 years and a half now.
No particular tweaking on my instance.
Since the beginning, I’m a big fan of Nextcloud, working perfectly fine, I use it everyday to sync files, calendars, and…
…Not the contacts, well it’s working halfway.
Since the beginning, when I’m using Nextcloud link to install Cardav adressbook, contacts aren’t syncing on my Macos system. On other systems such as Windows and ios, it’s working like a charm.
I spent a lot of time searching in many forums for a solution, even a tweaked one to get it work, with no luck.
One and a half year ago I let it go, but yesterday I actually FOUND A SOLUTION on a Github forum topic!! It’s so simple that I’m really surprised to read it for the first time.

Solution is to use the CalDav URL for ios and mac provided by Nextcloud instead of the CardDav link when you add a new CardDav account on your Macos Contact app.
If this solution is already documented somewhere the forum, I’ve never found it.

Je suis un utilisateur de Yunohost depuis près de 2 ans et demi.

Depuis le début je suis un gros utilisateur de Nextcloud qui fonctionne parfaitement en production, et est utilisé tous les jours pour la synchronisation des fichiers, les calendriers, et…
…Pas les contact, enfin à moitié!
Depuis le début, en utilisant le lien fourni par Nextcloud pour installer un carnet d’adresse CardDav, la synchronisation des contacts ne fonctionne pas sur mon système Macos. Sur mes autres systèmes, Windows et ios, ça fonctionne parfaitement.
J’ai passé beaucoup de temps à chercher dans tout un tas de forum une solution, même un moyen détourné de faire fonctionner cette synchro, sans résultat.
Depuis un an et demi j’ai un peu laissé tomber faute de temps, mais voilà qu’hier J’AI TROUVÉ au détour du forum Github LA solution!! Elle est si simple que je suis étonné de la lire pour la première fois.

La solution consiste à renseigner l’adresse CalDav pour ios et mac fourni par Nextcloud et non pas le lien CardDav lorsque l’on ajoute un nouveau carnet d’adresse dans son app Contact sur Macos.
Si cette solution est déjà documentée dans ce forum, je ne l’ai jamais trouvé.
