Kodi installation error

I guess I found it myself: Installing KDE Desktop Environment on Debian 10 Minimal Server

So I better stop here as I’m offtopic - sorry.

In my opinion Kodi is not a suitable application for Yunohost. Kodi is a client application, not a service, and not terribly appropriate for a webserver.
Kodi is better of as standalone mediacenter, integrated in a mediaserver or installed on your telephone or tablet. It does not need or benefit from tight integration in user management, which is one of the strong points of Yunohost.

The master branch looks up-to-date and equal to testing.

@Schoebi What I plan to try next time I install kodi is following:

  1. Install debian/raspbian/armbian with a lightweight window manager, e.g. XFCE or LXDE
  2. Test if you are able to start a “normal” graphical session
  3. Install Yunohost on top of the debian/raspbian/armbian
  4. Install Kodi and test if the GUI starts
  5. deactivate auto-start of the graphical session (might be done automatically when you install Yunohost)

I did not test the method but I had troubles getting kodi working on a laptop and I never managed to get a graphical session on top of Yunohost. Although I used to run an XFCE debian on it before Yunohost.
