Issues with DNS Configuration After Setting Up YunoHost

Hey guys…

I have recently set up YunoHost on my VPS, and while the installation process went smoothly, I am running into some issues with the DNS configuration. I’ve followed the documentation and pointed my domain’s DNS records to my server’s IP address. However, when I try to access my domain, it doesn’t seem to resolve properly.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:

  1. Updated the A and AAAA records for my domain to point to my server’s IP.
  2. Added the required TXT records for mail and domain verification.
  3. Checked that my firewall settings are allowing traffic on ports 80 and 443.

Despite this, when I check the DNS status via YunoHost admin panel, it says the records are not properly configured. I’ve waited over 48 hours for the DNS propagation, but still no luck.

I have not found any solution. Could anyone guide me about this? Has anyone encountered a similar issue or can offer some advice on what might be going wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Did you have add a reverse DNS on your registar to point the IPs to the domain name on the registar ?

Did you try https://<IPv4_VPS> ?

What returns the diagnosis ?

well if the IP must point to the domain name even if there is no reverse DNS, I am confuse…

how did you add the entries in the registar ?
