Internet cube/.cube file

Greetings, programs!

I’m interested in setting up an Internet cube. The install instructions say we have to have a .cube file but I’m having some trouble figuring out how to get one. The Internet cube website says to connect with a local group but I’m in the US and the only group listed for the entire US appear to be defunct.

So, how do I get a .cube file? Is this even still a thing or should I just abandon this idea and host over a normal VPN?

I don’t think there are any .cube suppliers in the US. You can either choose a provider in Europe (see VPN providers | Yunohost Documentation), or go through a manual OpenVPN or WireGuard configuration.
