Hi. I’m not an experienced system admin (or a system admin at all, to be honest), I think it’s important to say it.

I’ve tried to install Seafile on YunoHost 12.0.10 and tried to use a domain like: my.domain.com. Seafile asks for a domain path for its install, something like: my.domain.com/seafile. However, I did not want to mount it at this domain path, and asked for it to mount it at my.domain.com. It seems to have caused some issue in the first try. However, when I tried to reinstall it accepting the suggestion of “my.domain.com/seafile”, it still tries to install it on my.domain.com (and fails).

Maybe my problem could be solved cleaning all the leftovers from first installation (maybe I’m wrong, though). However, as I said, I do not have much experience and I’m trying to learn, so I would very much appreciate some help on how to do it. I tried to remove some files and it didn’t work.

Any light on this? Thanks in advance (and I’m really sorry if my question sounds dumb, it may be dumb, but I’m really willing to learn).

You can try the testing now or wait for the merge on master

Hi Josue, it’s me again.

I have tried to install the testing version, however I haven’t had any success. Actually, it just crashes and never finishes installing completely.

Giving the logs some attention, I have seen that some of the problems I’ve had the last time I tried to install it are still there. For example:

WARNING - adduser: Warning: The home dir /nonexistent you specified can't be accessed: No such file or directory

or

DEBUG - WARNING: Output dir already exists. If it contains a previous extracted image

If I’m not bothering you, would be able to help me with this? I think I still have problems with older files from previous installation attempts.

Hello

Are you sure that it crash and not just take a long time to downloads the requited files. From the log that I see I don’t see any crash.

Note that as the app use a docker image the files to downloads are quite big.
