Immich - YunoHost app (possible bug report)

What YunoHost version are you running: YunoHost 12.0.11 (stable).
What app is this about: Immich

I think this might be perhaps almost a bug report, but I cannot get Immich the app to work with my self hosted Immich.

My immich version is Installed 1.127.0 on 28 Feb 2025

If anyone is using and has the above working with YunoHost stable please let me know what to do to get the above working?

It works for me though:

1. Install Immich on android
2. Specify address of the Immich server
3. Log in with email address and password specified during installation.
4. Profit.

I suggest you actually describe what’s going on, with logs, description of what’s on your screen or even screenshots.

How did you install Immich on Android? it does not work for me. I have tried F-droid and Google play versions neither work for me. I think I must have changed a setting.

Though Daniel from Futo/Immich says having a web page for YunoHost before the Immich instance I am hosting is not normal…? so perhaps I have changed a setting somewhere?

Indeed, since the app handles its own login system, you may grant Visitors access to it.

As for your screenshot, maybe the YunoHost is not quite up to date. You may check the Android app changelogs to find the last version compatible with your server version, and install it with F-Droid. Disable auto-updates until the YunoHost apps next update.

Edit: I have not even installed the latest YunoHost app version and it works for me, so I guess that’s the YunoHost SSO that’s interfering with the Android app version check. Try again after granting Visitors access.
