Immich no longer importing photos after domain change

I recently had to change the domain for Immich since I lost access to the old one and couldn’t update the DNS info for the SSL cert. The new domain seems to be functioning fine: I can access Immich at the new address via browser and mobile app. I didn’t change anything else, but ever since the domain move, Immich no longer is importing new photos! I upload my photos automatically to Nextcloud, and they are stored on the same server as Yunohost. I couldn’t tag this topic with “Immich” for some reason :stuck_out_tongue:

Share relevant logs or error messages

There are no relevant logs available from the Yunohost dashboard. I’ve looked in the Immich logs from /var/log, but I haven’t been able to divine any useful information from them.

How do you try to import them from nextcloud to immich?

Nextcloud and Immich are both pointing to the same local directory for the photos. I’ve checked Immich configs just now, and the paths are correct, and they ‘validate’.

Do you configure that directory as an external library?

Yes. I think I’m figuring out the problem now. I think the problem was actually with the Nextcloud client configuration on my phone. Around the same time I changed the domain for Immich, I also updated my phone and the “instant upload” remote folder configuration must have changed. I’m currently fixing that issue, and I expect the problem will be solved. Thank you for engaging with my issue!
