But does it require that it’s the server itself that configure itself with a static IP ? If the DHCP/router does it, why is that an issue ?

When you want to start the DHCP service on adguard, it checks if the IP where adguard is install is static or not. If not it doesn’t start with a message saying that you must set your IP static.
