How to install to a partition

My YunoHost server

Hardware: MacBook 32bit
YunoHost version: 4.1.8

Description of my issue

Graphical install leads to a partition screen:

  1. Guided - use the largest continuous free space
    2-4. Use entire disk…
  2. Manual
    Both 1+5 lead to an error

Failed to partition the selected disk
This probably happened because the selected disk or free space is too small to be automatically partitioned

Which is also a dead end, meaning restart is required

How can I select a specific partition to install to ?

Well, this part of the install comes from Debian. The trick was to go back to the previous screen, and reselect Partition, somehow this offers the usual partition/ disk options.

For some reason the installer restarted and booted into regular Debian. I ended up reinstalling Debian, and installing YunoHost via terminal
curl https://install.yunohost.org | bash
