How to bridge IRC XMPP Matrix

Hi,

Can someone tell me how IRC XMPP and Matrix rooms bridged? In particular the Yunohost support rooms?

I’m trying Matterbridge to for bridging XMPP and Matrix and I’m wondering if there are other options.

It’s done using Matterbridge yes, but I don’t don’t much about the details :s (though one of the Matrix<->IRC bridge is also done using the “portal room” in Matrix, like a “native” bridge).

@Bram may know more about how it’s done
