What scanner are you trying to get on your network?
I think you could look into Tailscale. It’s a way to connect your private computers over the public internet.

My scanner is epson v370 (connected in usb).
Is it possible to install components such as XSANE (scan server) or NAPS2
You can do it by hand like on debian server, i don’t think we have a package for that for now.

It’s easy for printers but always complicated for scanners.
Perhaps with USB/IP Project? (free and open source)
