Having trouble with a few basics - want to add a plugin to OSTicket

My YunoHost server

Hardware: VPS IONOS
YunoHost version: 11.1.22
I have access to my server : Through SSH | through the webadmin
Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance ? : no
If yes, please explain:
If your request is related to an app, specify its name and version: OsTicket v1.17.3

Description of my issue

I feel a bit silly for not already knowing this, but I have a few questions that will help me get further along. I’m trying to add a plugin to OsTicket for OAUTH when it checks mail.

  1. Where are my install files or the instance of the app? When trying to access the app according to the docs, I CD to /var/www/osticket or even just /var/www, but I get a “permission denied” when trying that. When I run the find command, I get very little information back:
$ find / -name "setup" 2>/dev/null

returns

/var/lib/mysql/osticket
/etc/cron.d/osticket

Which are not install locations.

  1. Will YUNOHOST update OsTicket for me? I see an update is available. Will I break things by trying to install it manually?

I needed to sudo su to navigate and find the folder. That solves my issue about adding a plugin and finding the install location.

I’m still curious about the standard upgrade path for apps.
