GRUB failed to install

My YunoHost server

Hardware: Old laptop or computer
YunoHost version: 11.0.10.2 (stable)
I have access to my server : direct access via keyboard / screen
Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance ? : no

Description of my issue

I’m trying to setup a new server after successfully installing yunohost on another one. Everything goes fine with the installation until the very end when it tries to install GRUB bootloader.

I get a fatal error saying GRUB could not be installed.

I tried installing Ubuntu 22.04 on the same drive and that went fine so obviously the disk can accept a boot loader.

Is there any work around to this? I can’t reach the server at all as obviously it’s not started because it’s not booting…

Did you disable secure boot in BIOS? I know I’ve had failed installations before because of this.

Disable secure boot.
Install Yunohost or Debian 11
You can turn it back on after it installs and boots correctly.

That’s my suggestion.
