Describe your issue

Bonjour,

Hello,

I recently installed GoToSocial and I started following accounts on large french speaking instances like mamot.fr or piaille.fr but apart from the toots of the accounts that I follow directly (for those I managed to follow) my federated thread remains empty.

On the other hand I have received old toots from various instances with which I have not initiated any interaction and a toot that I have published has been boosted by a mastodon.social account (where I have not yet subscribed to anyone).

Logs are full of error messages

Hi!

I’m unable to help with that short logs…

What I can see it’s that GoToSocial is restarting many times

Can you provide logs who are including GTS boot sequence?

Has another instance of GoToSocial, Mastodon or any fediverse server previously ran on the same domain name before this install?

You can also ask the devs, as it’s certainly not a YunoHost issue: GoToSocial Documentation

Hi !

Is it better: https://privatebin.net/?e5fdbaf0a63ec404#A9DP6Uukvxspo6Acm5NCBzDLdGk4kEW83vke481E9Ny2 ?

I’ve shortly run a Pleroma instance on my server some time ago but it was on another subdomain (social. vs toot.)

I imported my followings from my Mastodon account and use it to discover new content and follow more accounts (I fail to follow Peertube channels), this way my federated timeline is more populated but it contains only public toots of my followed accounts

Hi,

I think I understood now it is actually the normal behavior (not following a whole instand, which would be very ressource consumptive for big ones) and so I just have to follow more accounts than if I were on a public instance
