[Ghost] Blogging platform

I meant…I am not able to understand from where the error is coming from. I will investigate it and update it when I get the cause.

Thanks for your help

@alexandre75

Can you tell the node version after the installation of the ghost.

$ node -v

Ghost has been updated for a security fix. The port on which Ghost listens is open to web, which is not required. The update closes the port.

Please update ASAP.

$ yunohost app upgrade -u https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/ghost_ynh ghost

Hi ! I would like to install Ghost blog but I can’t, I’ve this error message :slight_smile:
Warning: 2019-04-13 19:16:32 ERROR 404: Not Found
Info: The operation ‘Install ‘ghost’ application’ has failed! To get help, please share the full log of this operation using the command ‘yunohost log display 20190413-181544-app_install-ghost --share’

Can you help me ?

Can you please show the complete log by the log file?

You can also show the log by command line.

$ yunohost app install --debug https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/ghost_ynh

I put the complete log in pastebin :
https://pastebin.com/RSuLZJZK

@notkaa

This was not yunohost package issue. There was a problem from the Ghost website. They shifted to new server and forgot to implement the download link on new server.

Thanks for reporting the issue.

Crash on the upgrade… Shit!

Can you show the logs, please?

when I try to log into the admin section I’ve a boot loop so I can’t log into.
But with the ghost OSX app I can log into.

Can you help me ?

Edit : no bug with Firefox

The Ghost keep on upgrading package too frequently. Every time before upgrading Ghost do take backup of it.

I have to push few changes to make ghost package to the latest Yunohost standards.

What is the node version

$ node -v

v10.10.0

Expected version is : Expected version “^6.9.0 || ^8.9.0 || ^10.13.0”

So you should upgrade to 10.13.0. Now Yunohost can handle this type of version controls. I will be making changes to the Ghost package. Meanwhile you can do this manually as temporary solution.

Hello everybody, I tried installing Ghost via cli (sudo yunohost app install GitHub - YunoHost-Apps/ghost_ynh: Ghost package for YunoHost) but only get a 502 Bad Gateway on the corresponding route.

Following warnings were thrown:

Warning: warning ghost@2.25.4: The engine “cli” appears to be invalid.
Warning: warning “@tryghost/members-auth-pages > react-stripe-elements@2.0.3” has unmet peer dependency “react@^15.5.4 || ^16.0.0-0”.
Warning: warning “@tryghost/members-auth-pages > react-stripe-elements@2.0.3” has unmet peer dependency “react-dom@^15.5.4 || ^16.0.0-0”.

I’m running Node v10.16.0.

There were no errors, just those warnings.

Thanks for any help pointing me in the right direction :slight_smile:

when I ran yarn install in var/www/ghost I got:

error Could not write file “/var/www/ghost/yarn-error.log”: “EACCES: permission denied, open ‘/var/www/ghost/yarn-error.log’”
error An unexpected error occurred: “EACCES: permission denied, unlink ‘/var/www/ghost/node_modules/.yarn-integrity’”.

then I tried upgrading with debug flag:

Hello everybody!

I’m using Ghost on a DigitalOcean VPS, though I’d like to use it on my Yunohost… I saw on the github that there is no news since last year (last push was November 2018 if I’m correct).

is Ghost still on Yunohost roadmap? :slight_smile:

Thank you!

Ghost is updated to version 2.1.1.

Install Ghost with YunoHost

Integration level

To install from command-line :

$ yunohost app install https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/ghost_ynh

To update from command-line :

$ yunohost app upgrade -u https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/ghost_ynh ghost

I’m quite new to this but is there a human or technical obstacle to update to Ghost 4.x ? And if so, can I do/test something to help?

For my part I switched to Ghost 4.1, I just did the upgrade like this

sudo yunohost app upgrade ghost -u https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/ghost_ynh/tree/4.1.0

It’s maybe a bad idea, I don’t know, but it works very well here and I have no problem ^^
