Hello,
Owner of a Synology NAS, it is with pleasure that I rediscover, a little by chance to tell the truth, Yunohost.
What a joy to see the evolution that this distribution has taken.
For several months, I have been a little bothered because Syno prevents me a little from doing everything I would like.
So, I would like to try the Yunohost experience again with real hardware and not Raspberry.
For this I have an HP Proliant Gen8, with a Xeon and 16GB of RAM.
The most blocking point: I have 4 hard drives of 2TB mounted in RAID 5, and I would not like to lose the data they contain.
I also have 3 hard drives connected by USB that I want to mount at startup, but that is not the problem.
In terms of services, I have quite a few needs:
I use Emby for my media library. I imagine I can switch to Jellyfin.
I have 2 domain names at OVH. Can I set up 2 sites on port 80 of the same machine with 2 different NDDs?
On these domain names, I have subdomains for a forum, test sites, etc. I imagine that subdomains are not a problem, right?
For the forum, if I can easily export the data, is there a tool like PhpMyAdmin to import my data into a Flarum instance?
For my sites, I have to install several versions of PHP on Apache AND Nginx. Is this possible (for example on docker)?
For storing photos and viewing (albums, etc.), I imagine that NextCloud Photos does the job.
Big question: Does Yunohost provide a native system to do RAID 5? I admit that I don’t know much about it, and I don’t want to format my disks without knowing if the RAID performance will be good or not.
If someone can guide me, all information will be welcome.
Thanks
