Failed to upgrade to Peertube 8.0.1~ynh1

What YunoHost version are you running: YunoHost 12.1.38
What type of hardware are you using: VPS bought online

I check this post and used the same command, it doesn’t work.

Peertube upgrade issue

Ok thanks, i used ssh and command line interface I first used screen https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/screen And execute the peertube upgrade without backup (my yunohost instance runs in proxmox kvm and i used snapshot before upgrades) yunohost app upgrade peertube -b The upgrade takes around half and one hour to finish. My problem is solved.

I tried serveral time to use the upgrade button, but it all returns with failure.

I tired by sending the log to deepseek, and follow what it suggested. which lead to another failed installation.

Anyways, I have restore the backup, and my site is up again.

My last attempt to upgrade Peertube was unsuccessful. Here is the post( YunoHost API is not responding & Could not complete the operation 'Upgrade the 'peertube' app' ) and it was not resloved.

Would anyone please help me, I do want to upgrade my peertube if possible.

You apparently have two folders that shouldn’t coexist (…/videos and …/web-videos) since the script is supposed to rename the first one to the second :

mv /home/yunohost.app/peertube/storage/videos /home/yunohost.app/peertube/storage/web-videos

I don’t understand this command:

has it been added?

That’s an upgrade from 5 to 8
