YunoHost version: 11.2.8.2 (stable)
I have access to my server : Through SSH | through the webadmin
Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance ? : no

Description of my issue

Trying to install Cryptpad and installation fails. The sole warning reads: Failed to provision system_user : useradd command failed with exit code 2304

Sounds like maybe you have a user cryptpad that already exists for some reason …?

It’s a brand new installation of yunohost. Unless that user is created by the install script I don’t see how that’s possible.

Mokay then let’s try to have a look at sudo grep cryptpad /etc/passwd

No output.

I’m an absolute idiot.

I created a group for my cryptpad users. And I called the group (you guessed it) ‘cryptpad’. The Cryptpad installer got totally confused.

Once I deleted the group and created it with a new name, Cryptpad installed fine. Thanks for your help.
