  • We are in YunoHost 3.0 / Stretch \o/ YunoHost 3.0 (Stretch) release / Sortie de YunoHost 3.0 (Stretch)
  • Thanks to frju, the dynette now supports *.ynh.fr domains !
  • Tharyrok will handle the internet cube issue migration from Redmine to Github

[Distribution] Some VPS providers are ok to propose YunoHost

I asked https://time4vps.eu if they can provide the image for YunoHost on there VPS. And there answer is this.

We are interested in your offer. Also, we can prepare an OS template, just please clarify how Time4VPS will be shown up on your website or in any installation steps?

Kanhu / anmol fowarded the answer to time4vps that their service will be shown here YunoHost • index and asked about the time it will take to prepare the image.

[Apps integration] Actions and config panel

Presentation of

Proposal is to merge this ~now as an experimental feature and iterate with feedback

[App translations] New workflow for app translation (related to actions and config panel)

  • The current workflow is specific to translating the string in the manifest, and doesn’t allow the app maintainer to have control over the strings (except by going to weblate and finding the strings of his/her apps)

  • Translated strings are currently shiped via the app lists (they contain the manifest with strings from weblate)

  • Need to adapt the workflow for actions and config panel, which is not trivial

  • Proposal is to change the workflow by having a locales/ folder in apps

  • And sync trads with Weblate ↔ Script/Bot ↔ PRs on Git repo

Annex topic : open an issue to discuss “standard strings” to avoid have an almost-duplicate of 30 strings (ie “Choose an admin password”)

Follow up from time4vps team:

we will have OS template for KVM servers ready in next week.

Also at the moment we will be rolling out standard VPS with OpenVZ 7 virtualization where Debian 9 will be an option and YunoHost template will also be added. Currently we are testing OpenVZ 7 and will make it available in next month.

I’m attaching Time4VPS SVG logo. Which can be used on YunoHost website.

We really liked YunoHost and we are looking forward for this cooperation.
