Connect an Iphone to Baikal

What type of hardware are you using: VPS bought online

I’m running the baikal calendar service on my Yunohost. I can connect to it easily from thunderbird, so far so good.
If anyone is using a similar set-up: Is it possible to connect an Iphone to baikal. Do I need a third party app or is it possible using the iphone calendar.

due to a cpl of apple devices which connect to my baikal service I experienced a similar issue.

I also have no logs or proof, just the gut feeling that newer and older iphones differ in their requirement on services, eg for authentication

iirc, I set the webdav authentication type to basic to enable older devices. However it seemed to have blocked caldav configuration for newer iphones.

Thank you for your answer. I’m currently trying 3rd party apps on my Iphone and One Calendar seems to be one, that is able to connect to various servers.
So we might soon be able to close this question.
