Cannot use Collabora Online with nextcloud

What type of hardware are you using: Old laptop or computer
What YunoHost version are you running: 12.1.17.1
What app is this about: Nextcloud

Describe your issue

I can’t use Collabora online (document infinite login).

When I go to Nextcloud office parameter page I’ve the error :

Failed to connect to the remote server: cURL error 35: Recv failure: Connection reset by peer (see https://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/libcurl-errors.html) for https://office.rnd.local/hosting/discovery

But if I access with my browser to URL_collabora/hosting/discovery it’s ok I’ve the XML conf file.

I’ve also the warning ask me to enable WOPI but when I go to collabora setting page (URL_collabora/browser/dist/admin/adminSettings.html#opview), I haven’t any option to enable WOPI parameter.

I precise : I update all my packages and app today.

What the point I’ve missed ?

No error log.

Did you have edit the wopi parameter on the Nextcloud Office with 127.0.0.1,::1

Like I said, I haven’t this option

Not in Collabora, in the Nextcloud module yournextcloud.domain.tld/settings/admin/richdocuments

I also haven’t nothing into (except error message to say me to do this)

Seems something related to ssl… Is a local server ? did you try let activate the verification certificate ?
Capture d’écran du 2025-09-03 18-01-01

Yes it’s local because I cannot expose ports (see here).
Do you talk about this option ?

non juste la case dans le module de nextcloud Désactiver la vérification du certificat...

Sorry, I do mistake, if your server is only local, sure is better let desactivate…

Sooo, there always no ports opens ??

Yep always and I don’t known why :frowning:

what return this

yunohost app setting collabora protect_against_basic_auth_spoofing

I don’t see this option anywhere I’m sorry for my noob knowledge but where this option is supposed to be ?

If it’s on Nextcloud parameter app in yunohost I don’t see anywhere this option.
If it’s on Nextcloud parameter page, in which tab it’s supposed to be ?

false

Ok good

In the yunohost webadmin >applications >collabora, do you have visitors in the permissions section?

Yes, I’ve all_users & visitors allowed

So I decide to give collabora up : too hard to config, and after some test on public instance I don’t like interface and functionalities. I’ll prefer use LibreOffice with nextcloud sync, even if it’s not collaborative, at least it works.

You could have added 127.0.0.1 your_collabora_domain to your /etc/hosts

Yes I have  But no matter, I’ll use Libreoffice, and Cryptpad for collaborative stuff. Thank you for your time !

Not if you add a domain both for Nextcloud and Collabora in Yunohost, then install both packages and enter the Collabora https URL as the “Nextcloud Office” URL in the Nextcloud admin area.

Then it will work right away.
