Cannot log in with latest Wallabag update

My YunoHost server

Hardware: VPS bought online / Old laptop or computer / Raspberry Pi at home / Internet Cube with VPN / Other ARM board / …
YunoHost version: 11.2.30.2 (stable)
I have access to my server : Through SSH | through the webadmin | direct access via keyboard / screen | …
Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance ? : no
If yes, please explain:
If your request is related to an app, specify its name and version: Wallabag 2.5.4~ynh5

Description of my issue

I have accepted the latest update to Wallabag(2), however, whatever credentials are entered they fail. I have restored to the previous version (Wallabag 2.5.4~ynh4) which works.

Here are two logs:

I Have the same problem with Wallabager plugin after last update.

It works here on Yunohost 12.0.3 testing.

Can confirm the problem and the workaround from the backup

Same issue here, yet the android app still work.

@Lapineige Are you still logged in on the Android app? I was logged in on my iPhone, but as soon as I logged out, I was not able to get back in again. :crying_cat_face:

With the 2.5.4~ynh6 version of today I have the same issue.

P.S.: yunohost stable on amd64

Same to me with yunohost 11.2.30.2 and latest wallabag app 2.5.4~ynh6 on RPi 4.
(workaround for me at the moment: used the pre-upgrade and downgrade wallabag)

Got the same login problem on Yunohost 12.0.3 testing after update from 2.5.4~ynh4 to 2.5.4~ynh6

Same problem here with 11.2.30.2

Please try the latest release (which should have arrived in your update panel), version 2.5.4~ynh7, which have restored the patches for authentification that were deleted by error.
Thanks a lot @JimboJoe for solving this.

@Lapineige @JimboJoe Thanks very much for fixing this. Yes 2.5.4~ynh7 was offered in my update panel however, it didn’t work for me

I still get “Invalid Credentials”. Back on my previous version.

Thanks

Does your password have symbols (non alphanumeric characters) ?

@jarod5001 No. I it’s all normal characters. 1 capital 4 numbers no spaces.

Thank you

Dj

@jarod5001 I have again gone back to the previous working version. Just a thought though. I do have 2FA enabled. I will login to my previous working version later, disable 2FA and try the update again. However with the updated version I get “Invalid Credentials” before the 2FA prompt.

Worth a try? Are the others that cannot get on using 2FA?

Thanks

Dj

@jarod5001 turned off 2FA, no change. Still “invalid credentials”

Worth a try

Hello,

I don’t have 2FA enabled but I have the same problem and can not log in with 2.5.4~ynh7.

Ok so there is an issue with this update. I thought it was just me. It usually is.

Many thanks to those that have confirmed the same.

Hello, just now I got another popup during login. Instead of “credentials failed” it said “invalid CRDF Token” (or something like that. Got it only one time it it fades fast).

This was right during the first login after restoring 2.5.4~ynh6 and updating it to 2.5.4~ynh7.
