Can someone help me connect to Ampache?

I am struggling to connect any remote clients to my Ampache server. I have spent the last two days trying to figure out the problem, but I really cannot. My level of expertise is quite low, but with a little help and several long days of effort, I managed to install Yunohost and get it running. I have a baikal, and an owncloud instance installed on Yunohost which seem to be working fine.

I can login and manage my Ampache install remotely via web browser, but I cannot get any client apps to connect (i.e., Tomahawk on linux, or Subsonic/Dsub on android). I don’t know if it’s something as simple as typing the wrong path (i.e. http://myhostname.nohost.me/ampache)… with http it times out, with https I get “Connection failure. length=186; regionStart=0; regionLength=-1”

Like I said, I have been trying to find the information I need to fix this, but I don’t want to go blindly edit config files for yunohost, nginx, ampache, etc. since I really don’t know where the problem is. Some of the information seems out of date or incomplete-- something I read said to edit my VHost file… but they didn’t say where I can find that file!

I’m going crazy, and I wish someone here has Ampache set up on Yunohost, and can tell me step by step how to make it work.

I am having the same problem ^^ https://github.com/ampache/ampache/wiki/API
I found that but dont to mess around too much!

If it is ok to follow the steps the steps please let me know :wolf:

I gave up on this long ago. I believe in my case it has to do with having a self-signed certificate. Some apps don’t like that, and don’t let you override it.
