Anonymous visitors option when installing apps

Where can I find information about the “Should this app be exposed to anonymous visitors” checkbox when installing apps? Sometimes it’s checked by default and sometimes not. When should an app be exposed to anonymous users?
Thanks
Richard

I think it is not that well documented indeed. App packagers are encouraged to add a short text explaining what it does though. Basically this question handles whether or not YunoHost will ask for a user and an password before allowing you to visit an app.

Anonymous visitors are usually welcome when you host a website, a forum, or in some particular cases like Nextcloud (to access it from mobile apps). If you only want a set of YunoHost users to access it, answer no and manage their access with the permissions panel in the webadmin.
