2 domains same yunohost confused postfix, migration worries

What type of hardware are you using: VPS bought online
What YunoHost version are you running: 11.3.0.2 (stable)
How are you able to access your server: SSH
Are you in a special context or did you perform specific tweaking on your YunoHost instance ?: dual domains pointed at the same yunohost vps

Describe your issue

Last year contabo raised its rates, so I turned off a vps and moved the domain to another existing vps running yunohost.
The mx records for that domain have been grandfathered in for free at zoho for like over a decade, so I left them there.
This next bit is wrong, but not my issue - I don’t care, but it’s important maybe?

  • kalum.ca and gemlog.ca are both on the same vps with yunohost
  • mx records for kalum.ca point to zoho.com. dkim etc. is fine, no problems
  • mx reocords for gemlog.ca point to the vps with yunohost, which also has a bunch A records etc. for kalum.ca
If I accidentally email a kalum address from gemlog.ca, postfix complains it points back to itself! Which makes sense. So I don’t do that!
However, I worry that this unusual situation might confuse the migration script‽‽ Very worried.
Will it? Maybe I should try to get rid of that error situation first? But I lack the skill with postfix to do it.
Thanks - I know this is an odd question.
