Yunohost unable to complete any actions due to what looks like a stuck process

What type of hardware are you using: VPS bought online
What YunoHost version are you running: 11.2.30.2 (stable).
How are you able to access your server: The webadmin
Are you in a special context or did you perform specific tweaking on your YunoHost instance ?: no

Describe your issue

when I attempt to do anything such as check for updates or update the certificate or reboot, I get an error which says that yunohost is doing something and that it cannot do the task which I set out to do. Here is a copy past of what the error says.
Unsuccessful
Check for updates

YunoHost encountered an internal error
Really sorry about that.
You should look for help on the forum or the chat to fix the situation or report the bug on the bugtracker.
Error: “500”
Action: “PUT” /yunohost/API/update/all
Error message:
There is already a YunoHost operation running. Please wait for it to finish before running another one.
While processing the action the server said:
Another YunoHost command is running right now, we are waiting for it to finish before running this one
OK

I have no idea what could have been running for the past 16 or so days. I can’t do a system backup, I can’t check for updates, I wonder what got stuck.
I managed to get my logs with yuno paste.

I did get the error above when going to the diagnosis section, so I can’t even do that. TGhat is how I got the logs thoiugh so I hope that helped a bit.
Thanks.

sudo htop to know what process is running
Reboot the server may help

If you run this command you should be able to find which process is blocking. Maybe a regular backup operation ?

ps aux | grep yunohost

For whatever reason replying by email on the form post did not work perhaps because I removed the quoted item below as I did not want any of that in my message.

anyway, the sudo command failed as Debian said that command was unknown. I ended up updating the server, anyway, rebooting and whatever was stuck released itself. It had been about 3 months since a reboot anyway.

I will not mark this as solved until I can surmise this is fixed 100 percent.

Thanks and happy monday.
