XMPP / EMAIL works for admin account but new accounts won't connect

Hardware: Old laptop or computer
YunoHost version: 3.6.4.6
I have access to my server: Through webadmin.

Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance?: no

Description of my issue

My main Nextcloud admin account has working email and xmpp client connection/use however when I add additional users they are unable to authenticate.

Am I correct in assuming that for each user there is also an email user and xmpp account available automatically?

If so, are they using the same settings to connect? user, login credentials?

Where do you add new users ? In YunoHost Web Admin or in the users panel of Nextcloud ?

Only YunoHost users has xmpp and email.

oh, that’s embarrassing:( that makes total sense. So if I were to invite users to my nextcloud, I would additionally need to add them via the Yunohost admin panel. I noticed the ability to add users but I assumed it was for actual admin.
