I found a bit of spare time so I am having a bit of a cleanup on my YNH server, however I have hit a brick wall in trying to ‘erase’ a defunct service I no longer need. Many moons ago I installed the SAMBA server to allow for some file sharing but I could never get it to work properly and I seem to remeber it ended up breaking something else so I uninstalled it and have avoided it ever since. I do however note that my lovely little YNH server tries to start this service everytime it boots and I can’t work out how to remove this service from the ‘start’ list. I have attached a log to show the details of the culprit. How can I eradicate this service?
I note from this support request that Jarod5001 (a clever chap) looked at similar issues with this service in the past but it’s not quite the same for me:- [Directory Lister] Web File Browser I just want to clean out the service completely. How can I best achieve this (or which file can I edit???) . Many thanks in advance for any input or guidance.
