[SOLVED]Nextcloud Installation Problem December 2022

Hello, everyone,

This is to confirm that I searched for similar problems (with nextcloud as a keyword) on the forum but couldn’t find any similar issues.

My YunoHost server

Hardware: A desktop computer with intel 3rd gen i3, 8G RAM, 240G SSD
YunoHost version: 11.0.10.2
I have access to my server : Webadmin, SSH, Direct Access
Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance ? : No
If yes, please explain: But couldn’t install from original image. Installed Debian, then curl’d.

Description of my issue

I am trying to install Nextcloud (first instance) through webadmin. The installation initates but fails to complete.

I think it is an issue with some of the dependencies but not certain as I am not exactly sysadmin material.

Updated the dependencies via SSH with

apt update

and then

apt install php8.0-igbinary php8.0-imap php8.0-redis php8.0-zip smbclient

This updated these packages, and then running the install went without an issue.

Documenting for similar issues occurring.
