I still have the problem from: Setup and test 4.1 smtp relay? with YunoHost 4.2:

I double check the credentials and use the same settings in Thunderbird and they worked.

An option for smtps has been added on 4.2, you should try with this option. it might fix this issue.

Are you sure of your login and password? Has password specific characters ?

Hm… It contains *, + and a # … Think this should be okay, isn’t it?
But i will try a ASCII only password…

Hm! The SASL authentication failed error is gone and my test mails now arrived!
