**What type of hardware are you using** : VPS bought online
**What YunoHost version are you running** : 12.0.11
**What app is this about** : Mailman3

### Describe your issue

Good evening,

I volunteer for an organization that regularly uses about 40 mailing lists for approximately 1,200 members. There are 6-8 of us volunteers who administer these lists.

What I’d like to do is remove the `Subscribe` button from the Mailman3 homepage and only allow access to those who have a registered account.

I saw in the Mailman3 documentation that this is possible by modifying a file `/etc/mailman3/settings.py`

> **[settings.py - Frequently Asked Questions (Admin) — Mailman Suite 3.3...](https://docs.mailman3.org/en/latest/faq.html#how-to-disable-signup)**

Except that when installing via the Yunohost application, this file doesn’t exist. It also seems to me that ideally, these files should not be touched so that they continue to be updated.

Would it be possible to add a button in the application’s configuration to choose whether to display or hide the `Register` button?

Or, in the worst case, would it be possible to find out where the `settings.py` file is located in the Yunohost installation so I could modify it manually? And it’s up to me to be careful with each update (but I don’t know how yet).

Thank you in advance for your attention to my request 😊

Bonsoir,

> **[settings.py - Frequently Asked Questions (Admin) — Mailman Suite 3.3...](https://docs.mailman3.org/en/latest/faq.html#how-to-disable-signup)**

🇬🇧 Well, I’m a pain, it was all written in the application description 🤦‍♂️

> /etc/mailman3/

It was this file to modify: `/etc/mailman3/mailman-web.py`

Sorry for the inconvenience, maybe this will help someone else like me.

And thank you YunoHost and its great team, of course ✌
