Have you heared about Pimatic?
It is a gread solution for the internet of things - home automation, control, surveillance… You can use everything the Raspverry Pi has to offer!
There still is no App for Yunohost that takes advantage of the GPIO Pins and Pimatic would fix that gap!

Hi, personally I use Jeedom. Jeedom has plugins taking advantage of the GPIO pins of the Raspberry and much much more… (ZWave, Ambilight, etc… See Plugins).
I have updated the package but it needs some more testing and upgrading: https://github.com/scith/jeedom_ynh
