# ownCloud: can't reset the admin password, can't find 'occ' binary

hi hello

i lost the admin password of my ownCloud, so i was trying to recover it. Apparently, i have to use the “occ” binary, but it doesn’t exist anywhere on my machine. I tried:  
`$ docker compose exec owncloud occ user:resetpassword admin` → command “docker” doesn’t exist  
and `$ php occ user:resetpassword admin` → “Could not open input file: occ”  
both as the ‘owncloud’ user.

i see that there is the ‘ocis’ binary, but idk if it’s supposed to be able to reset the admin password and i didn’t find anything about it..

Hello @imzy  
First, update your version to 8.2.0~ynh2

```auto
yunohost app upgrade owncloud -u https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/owncloud_ynh

```

Then

```auto
systemctl stop owncloud 
yunohost app shell owncloud
./ocis idm resetpassword -u admin
# set the new admin password
exit
systemctl start owncloud

```
