Hi,

On an ARM board (olimex lime 2) on stretch beta 1.5, I had to start php7.0-fpm after the install to get rid of the 504 error. Here is php7.0-fpm status after the install :

● php7.0-fpm.service - The PHP 7.0 FastCGI Process Manager
Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/php7.0-fpm.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)
Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since Mon 2018-06-04 11:42:56 CEST; 17min ago
Docs: man:php-fpm7.0(8)
Process: 22735 ExecReload=/bin/kill -USR2 $MAINPID (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
Main PID: 12998 (code=exited, status=78)
Status: “Processes active: 0, idle: 20, Requests: 3762, slow: 338, Traffic: 0req/sec”

Was there any interesting log entry in /var/log/php7.0-fpm.log?

Besides, testing version running fine in production on my side :+1:

Good evening !

Like @mokas01, I have to start php7.0-fpm service after install in order to access Nextcloud (Raspberry/stretch beta 1.6)
I have done this through the web interface. Unfortunately, the web interface is blocked on the pacman when looking for the log (but this behavior is the same for all the services, so maybe it comes from the stretch migrations ?!?)

Cheers :slight_smile:

Hey,

Comment as tu contourné le pb ? Je rencontre le meme soucis (/tmp = 368M en tmpfs)

Merci !

Hello @K-nar,

J’ai un disque dur branché sur mon board ARM, donc j’ai créé une partition supplémentaire dessus, que je monte sur /tmp.

Testing version working well on my side so far :+1:

#74

On the 13.02 stable version, my access can be randomely very slow.
I have a lot of those errors in my php7.0-fpm log : (/var/log/php7.0-fpm.log)

[27-Jun-2018 07:34:18] WARNING: [pool nextcloud] child 3331, script ‘/var/www/nextcloud/index.php’ (request: "GET ") executing too slow (6.391013 sec), logging
[27-Jun-2018 07:34:18] NOTICE: child 3331 stopped for tracing
[27-Jun-2018 07:34:18] NOTICE: about to trace 3331
[27-Jun-2018 07:34:18] NOTICE: finished trace of 3331

Any idea ?

#75

This is a performance problem on your server, and it’s not necessarily linked to Nextcloud. If one process uses the CPU a lot, other processes will get slower, and php-fpm processes tend to generate that warning message…
Maybe can you profile a bit your global CPU use…?

#76

Thanks very much for your support.
I have 2GB RAM and 1 or two vCores, thought it would be sufficient…
I’ll review that on my server !

#77

What about those errors ?

Le PHP OPcache n'est pas correctement configuré. Pour de meilleure performance nous recommandons d'utiliser les paramètres suivant dans le php.ini :

opcache.enable=1
opcache.enable_cli=1
opcache.interned_strings_buffer=8
opcache.max_accelerated_files=10000
opcache.memory_consumption=128
opcache.save_comments=1
opcache.revalidate_freq=1

sudo yunohost app install https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/nextcloud_ynh/tree/testing --debug

ou

sudo yunohost app upgrade nextcloud -u https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/nextcloud_ynh/tree/testing --debug

I fixed the first post, thanks for the notice!
