Thanks for the information.
For me i had to use the `‘pwd__YOUR_DOMAIN'` instead of the “`shared secret`”.
Using the “`shared secret`” i can’t create a conv.
Using the `“pwd__YOUR_DOMAIN"`i can create conversation.

Edit 1: Also, i needed to open the 5349 port both in TCP & UDP (i found this by running YNH Diag, because the coturn postinstall doesn’t say anything about opening a special port)
Edit 2: with open port, it works but only in local network (which is quite useless). I try to redirect UDP 443 to 5349 as explained here: [Enh udp 443 by zamentur · Pull Request #31 · YunoHost-Apps/coturn\_ynh · GitHub](https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/coturn_ynh/pull/31) but i failed to do this redirection.
Maybe i missed something: Do i need to install the CoTurn server on a different machine? (right now, i have 3 soft on the same machine: YNH with NC+NC Signaling+CoTurn)

Indeed, by inspecting `/etc/yunohost/apps/nextcloud-signaling/settings.yml` and looking for the key `pwd__` and using that, I could create rooms.

for me, i can’t make vidéo conférence working.

I was curious, so I checked the source. The appears to use the [Janus SFU](https://janus.conf.meetecho.com/) under the hood, which is one of the best media servers available.

thanks a lot. I have been able to install on YunoHost Nextcloud+NC signaling server + Coturn. I can create rooms, but it seems that nobody is able to connect. I get the connection (no video, but chat messages are sent) and right after the guest disconnects, and goes on like this in loop.
Everything is in a small VPS. I tried both separate domains (nectcloud.xxxx.xx ; talk.xxxx.xx ; turn.xxxx.xx) and on the same domain. Neither is working. ☹

**Most Important** : which version of Nextcloud and Nextcloud Talk are you using?
there was a regression related to notification which made Talk impossible to use. → **update NC (\>= 34.0.2) + Talk first of all**
did you follow this guide?

sorry, my fault. I totally ignored the nextcloud talk configuration parts about turn/stun.
I was mislead by the conf I set into hte signaling server regarding coturn, I thought that was sufficient. Sorry.
Now everything seem to work. All I need to know now is what are the minimum specs to have more ore less 50 people in one room interacting.
As of now I am on a OVH VPS with 2 cores and 8GB of ram, but I am aware it could be a little underpowered.
Anyway, thanks again for your guide (BTW why is “SHOW SECRETS” not working??? 🙂 )

OK great to see it’s working. 🙂
To make visio work with 50 people the most important thing you need is a really good internet connexion on your server.
I think a VPS might not be enough, you should take a dedicated server and check the bandwith Upload and Download (\>= 1Mbps Up and Down).
I used to install BBB (BigBlueButton) for making visio with 50 people before, and i used a dedicated server. → with VPS it was not making the job.
Maybe Nextcloud talk + HPB works differently and need less bandwith, but i’m not sure.
