# Migration failing from

**What type of hardware are you using** : Old laptop or computer
**What YunoHost version are you running** : 11.3.0.2 (stable)
**How are you able to access your server** : The webadmin
**Are you in a special context or did you perform specific tweaking on your YunoHost instance ?** : no
### Describe your issue
I am currently trying to run a migration from 11.3.0.2 to Debian Bookworm and YunoHost 12 but it seems to fail.

I think the error is this :
```auto
2026-03-02 18:07:28,751: ERROR - Migration 0027_migrate_to_bookworm did not complete, aborting.
Error: Your system is not fully up-to-date. Please perform a regular upgrade before running the migration to Bookworm.
```
You should upgrade your server before doing this migration.
Edit : it seems that 11.3.0.2 is the last version, so I do not know, sorry 🙁

thanks for the suggestion, even if it isn’t the issue.
Just bumping this in the hopes that more eyes will get on this.
Alternatively should i consider starting fresh then loading application backups into the new system? Or would this be counter productive?

I’ve been conversing with people on the xmpp group chat and decided to document the solution here … first of all I had issue with the cryptographic keys, this command allowed me to update my system files as a first step:
`sudo yunohost tools regen-conf -f`
all system files are now up to date, but I have yet to run the migration

Yes, at the first lines of the logs, you can see that there are keys issues.
