Will do. I’ve gone to my website and compared the Matomo script code and there was an error on my site. I updated it as well as placed a backup image tracker. Will see how this works now :stuck_out_tongue:

Update: This was indeed the issue, user error, now am getting tracks.

The log analytics version of Matomo also looks very promising!

Would that be easier to implement? It only needs access to some already existing server-logs I guess?

I will try to install it somewhere this month if I find some time for it.

Hiya,
a newbie issue: on the database setup page the following is returned:

Error while trying to connect to the database server: Database access denied

Do I have to create the user ,etc. from the terminal command line?
Thanks if somebody can help with this

mysql driver seems to be missing
sudo apt install php8.0-mysql
and try to install again

I tried

sudo php -m | grep mysqli
To check for mysql driver, it was installed. But it seems it’s not the same version that needs to be installed.

Hi,
I didn’t pay attention and updated to Matomo version 5.0.3, thinking it was 5.0.2.
Since then, Matomo tells me that the database does not correspond to the format of the installed version.
I saw on the Matomo YNH Github that the update to 5.0.3 was noted by the bot.
Is it expected to coming soon or is it better for me to reinstall and completely reconfigure the application?
