Can you get us more information?
I have been using yunohost with jellyfin for 2 years and never have this issue.
It was a temporary issue in YunoHost core. It has been resolved now.
The issue continues. Do you know when can be resolved?
Thanks
Nope, cannot know. Please open a dedicated support thread and bring logs!
Hello.
As far as DeepL helped me translating French, I think we all have the same problem with playback in browsers. For maybe 2 months I cannot watch movies and shows in all browsers and on iPad. But Jellyfin works on computer in Delfin app and on Android with Jellyfin app. Is there a fix for this? Someone mentioned reinstalling. Does this help?
Playback error
This client does not support this media format and the server does not send a compatible format.
Perhaps you’ll find some answers there :
Looks like it is not solving my problem. In the past I could play all videos on iPad or on computer using browser. For some time I cannot do that. I can play videos only in Delfin app or on Android (but I cannot change quality - it was working in the past) and it looks like these videos are streamed directly from the server, without any transcoding. That looks like it is also causing troubles on XBOX with Kodi and JellyCon/Jellyfin addons, where video starts playing but stops after a couple of seconds.
Looks like some transcoding issues
Hi,
The YunoHost package for Jellyfin is broken according to the catalog.
- Is the fix being worked on ?
- How can one help fix the problem ?
I would gladly help despite my scarce knowledge on Debian and packaging (but it’s an opportunity to learn I guess).
I don’t know, but you can start by reading the latest CI log: YunoRunner for CI
Note that the package may be working, in fact
