# Issues with the subdomain SSL

Having issues with the subdomain SSL.
Once I setup the subdomain, it doesn’t do the lets encrypt cert for the subdomain even though it’s the same base domain.
**Hardware:** VPS bought online
**YunoHost version:** On Debian 11
**I have access to my server :** Through SSH on initial setup
**Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance ?** : no

it’s hard to help you without screenshot and logs.
I invite you to access your yunohost with web browser. Then upload a screenshot of the subdomain configuration \> “certificate” tab. You can obfuscate your main domain if you want 😅
