I got a diagnostic mail that 'The server does not have working IPv6.' after a week of working OK

What type of hardware are you using: VPS bought online
What YunoHost version are you running: 12.1.40.1 (stable)
How are you able to access your server: The webadmin
SSH
Are you in a special context or did you perform specific tweaking on your YunoHost instance ?: Installed on the VPS provided Debian 12 base OS

Describe your issue

Hello,

I’m a pretty fresh yunohost user, set it up about 2 weeks ago. A couple days ago, after more than a week of operation without issues, I got a diagnostic mail with the entries:

  • [WARNING] The server does not have working IPv6.
  • [ERROR] Some DNS records are missing or incorrect for domain… (complains about AAAA records for all configured subdomains)

The errors were also displayed in the Web UI.

When I checked the server and DNS responses, the interface had the correct IPv6 and the DNS entries had not changed. All TTLs are 3 hours.

I re-ran the diagnostics and the errors went away. I did not notice any issues otherwise.

Is there a way to learn what caused the error?

Share relevant logs or error messages

There seem to be no logs in the web UI for the diagnostic runs.

A temporary issue

Sure seems that way, I would still like to learn why it was triggered, if that’s possible.

Network issues, nothing you have to do

Ok then. Thanks.
