# How to obtain the LDAP password?

### My YunoHost server
**Hardware:** VPS bought online
**YunoHost version:** 11.1
**I have access to my server :** Through SSH | through the webadmin
**Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance ?** : no
**If yes, please explain:**

I am trying to enable LDAP auth on Pixelfed, because support [is not yet merged](https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/pixelfed_ynh/pull/179). However, I don’t know how to get the credentials, when using `cn=users,dc=yunohost,dc=org`, I can’t seem to be able to find the associated password. Comments online tell me to use the `admin` user’s password, but recent YunoHost installations don’t even feature an `admin` user.

No LDAP password is required, local anonymous users can fetch the user infos without a password
