Due to privacy concerns and just the general state of the world I’m pretty interested in setting up some services both privately for my family and for a community of fan/activists I’m interested in setting up. I’ve set up hosting and done quite a bit of self taught web development before so I’m not intimidated by following a set of directions and debugging etc - but I’m having trouble getting a handle on the landscape of all the options that are available now and what would fit my vision. I just want to find someone trustworthy to discuss the pros and cons of different choices. Is this the place to do that? Or can you recommend another place I could go to find someone for this kind of conversation? Thank you.
