Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance ? : no
I deleted my issue and mark this solved. I was confused, I now see my email password is the same as my “user” password.
Resetting my password via the web admin interface seemed to be working but was not actually working.
But I was able to change my password via the terminal with:
yunohost user update username -p "password"
