TQ Aleks for the solutions, will try these 2 solutions out

Hi Aleks,

I have downloaded snappymail,
without the need of any manual configuration.

I can receive email sent to my email at my user yunohost.
But when I try to reply to the email,

There is an error “Can’t send message”,

Is there any configuration need to be done at snappymail in order to send out message or reply an incoming message?

Thanks

cf the “ADMIN” bit that you should see at the bottom of Yunohost Admin > Apps > Snappymail :

Hi Aleks,

i am able to get to the snappymail admin web page
after I keyed in “admin” as username
I am stucked with the password, and the TOTP code input field.

I cannot understand the following:
Login with user “admin” and password from the file __INSTALL_DIR__/data/_data_/_default_/admin_password.txt .

How do I get access to this file name
INSTALL_DIR/data/data/default/admin_password.txt”?

I search thru the /home/username directory, no such file.
Please help

Thanks

Go to your webadmin > Apps > Snappymail, and you will see the actual instructions for your setup at the bottom

Hi Aleks,

thank you for the solution,

now I can send out email,

however, another issue appeared,

my email has only Inbox folder
there is no Sent folder and other folder

is this to do with the config of SnappymMaili?

Check the settings/parameters in SnappyMail: there is a button at the bottom left, and a menu on the top right.
There you can access the Folders section, where you can manage your folders. Create the missing folders and use the System Folders to assign them accordingly.

TQ Very much GoustiFruit.
