## The context A yunohost contributor plans to work again onto NAS feature (`yunohost storage` commands). For now, we plan some disks management feature (organized around btrfs) like raid or snapshot, possibility to manage on which storage run an app or its data, and ability to give access to some data with SFTP/SMB/NFS. This topic is quite complex cause around all of this, we can found topics like disk encryption, ext4 support, S3 storage, systemd mount unit, app resources (packaging v3) … ## How you could help It could very useful if you could explain some things you do or wanted to do around this “NAS feature” topic. The idea is to explain: your situation, what you wanted to do, why you need this, how you succeed or not to do it. Example: > #### My situation > > I use yunohost with webadmin only (or almost) > I use it for nextcloud in a personnal context with my familly and i have a lot of photo > > #### What i wanted to do > > I wanted to add a new disk with 2TB and move my nextcloud data on it > > #### Why i need this > > Not enough space for my photo > > #### How i succeed or not > > I tried to plug the disk but i didn’t find how to bind the nextcloud to it, i don’t know how to found the disk ! > I don’t try the mount point method describe in the documentation, i am not enough confident with command line to try this kind of incantation !
