# Galène for YunoHost

## Overview
Galène is a videoconferencing server that is easy to deploy (just copy a few files and run the binary) and that requires moderate server resources. It was originally designed for lectures and conferences (where a single speaker streams audio and video to hundreds or thousands of users), but later evolved to be useful for student practicals (where users are divided into many small groups), and meetings (where a few dozen users interact with each other).

Bonjour tout le monde,
Juste pour dire que j’ai installé cette application il y a deux jours et que ça fonctionne parfaitement.
Merci à “ericg” et aux contributeurs pour leur super boulot.

De même, super application !.
Existe t’il une manière de se connecter sans rentrer de mot de passe et identifiant (un fichier de configuration) ?.
Cela serait super qu’elle soit intégrée à Synapse !.

Salut @ericg et @Aleks , j’ai toujours le soucis avec le firewall sur ynh 4.2.0 pour le range Galene. Sais tu s’il y a workaround et/ou si pris en compte en version ultérieur de ynh ?

@steven : il faut mettre à jour vers une testing plus récente, le bug a été corrigé en 4.2.x

😅 en fait c’est mon serveur de prod, il s’etait mis en maj testing sans que je m’en aperçoive. Du coup je préférerai attendre une version stable, sauf si tu penses que c’est mieux ?

- We are now using the built-in Turn server by default. (You can still install Galène with the TURN external server from this branch: [GitHub - YunoHost-Apps/galene\_ynh at galene+turn](https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/galene_ynh/tree/galene+turn))
- _Recording_ and _groups_ are now stored in this `/home/yunohost.app/galene` path so when you delete the app you still keep the recordings and group sets.
- The server statistics are now available at this address : `domain.ltd/stats.html`
